The number 1 cylinder is down i have a good spark i,m sure as i got a nice touch of it [IMG]. After checking the coil running to number1 with the multi meter and i got a reading of 5.0 so all is good there but i cant get anything from the plug lead to coil.

The coil thats running 3 and 4 is reading 2.9 so it seems thats not so good but those cylinders are running fine?

i'm going by this vid i found on the youtube [IMG].

No reading from coil to plug lead though.

    Any thoughts?

Remove the plug cap and see if you can get a spark from the end of the wire. The same coil fires No 4, so if 4 is firing it must be a bad connection in the No1 wire.

Snip a couple of MMs off the end of each lead to give the caps some new wire to screw into

Check the screw inside the cap is not corroded

And if u turn the lead and clip gently in opposite directions it 'unlocks' the clip and slides off

i sprayed contact cleaner everywhere i thought there would be any corrosion and it seems to be running fine atm thankfully!

So i,ll leave it at that for a while felt good to get back out on it again as i had been laid up for 5 months with a leg injury which atm is niggling its way back if it isn't the bike that is broken down it's me lol.
