Radiator flush, lever angle adjustment, removed metal plate on the dash. Can I say a good flush then adding penrite 50/50mix anti freez, anti corrode, anti boil coolant has reduced my heating by 25%.
Nice day for a ride ..... turned right in the quiet backstreets of town to head out to the open road (Johnston St for those playing at home) boom boom ..... the mighty Hyo !
Said exactly that to the copper ..... 'its only a fukin hyosung!' I had only just turned from a stop and he reckons I was doing 74 in a 50 ..... ******
ive just painted a spare faring for the across in the blue vinyl wrap (plasti-dip equivalent) and it does look awesome. ill need a week atleast off work to do the whole bike including repairing the plastic but it should turn out nice. ill have to hit @GreyImport up for some stickers first though
That is crap, Grey. I went past him on my CF150 and he didn't even look at me. Must be the black bike.
... and the black boots, black pants, black jacket, black gloves and black helmet There was actually 2 of them in the car ... and I calculate they would of had to radar me from around the corner behind the hills .... as soon as he turned that last sharp bend towards town with the tafe on the left , I saw him as he had his lights on already and by then i cut the throttle and was maybe doing 55 ....... if i did reach 70 it would have been for like 50mtrs. wat a joke Actually the funny thing was he never checked the bike , the rego or questioned my tinted visor or anything. I also made him wait while I was texting /warning grasshopper about them .... he stood there with the ticket waiting to hand it to me. I think Ill just write to say wat a wank it was and with my impeccable driving record hopefully get it canned.
started taking stickers off the bike (slowly going to do repairs to fairings). used a hair dryer to get the sticker off but there is still a residue left on there. would i be correct in saying that eucalyptus oil should remove it?
I tried kerosene because that's all I had. While it was working with me rubbing it in then scratching it off it was taking forever to get a small part done. Might try the wax and grease remover tomorrow and see how that goes. Thanks guys
Update time on the zxr250 Well the tiny..tiny..tiny washers for the air/fuel mixture arrived at Team moto. Won't divulge what I paid as I'm still trying to get over it Well they are re-united with the carbs and ready for test run The starter motor was giving problems....bloody would'nt work?? So I removed it and the sounds coming from within were not healthy at all. Pulled the starter apart to find bits of broken plastic drop out the bottom??? So I moved onto the junction (water) pipe.....rusted beyond repair. The 2 photos show both sides of the pipe.....thinking if I can't obtain one in reasonable condition might obtain a piece of pipe and try and make a new one. Looking at the support bracket I think can be removed easily with the dremmel, worth a try I guess. That is as far as I've gotten... a few issues to overcome, keep you informed on my progress.
try a muffler shop and get one in stainless exhaust tubing. starter motor needs a new brush holder, try ebay.
