I love that Skoal Bandit rg500! Great mix of old and new.

NSR500, yes please! This one looks like it's got rgv running gear

Others I would add would be the Cagiva 500 and an r7

2SR......you know your parts mate. It uses the NS400 frame modified to take the VJ22 swing arm. I'm using the MC 22 arm, the 22 front end and wheels. Also RS tail and 22 fairing. Motors the tricky bit.

Classic MC Mechanic are real teasers, I loved that retro RG500. In fact in a previous issue they were on about building a new RD 350 LC.

    That'll be one sweet bike!!!

Canada never got any of the real 2stroke GP replicas... so I make due by trying to retrofit parts of those to what we have available. Lots of ebay and 2stroke forums trawling for parts. Too many hours.

It's a cruel thing to make a man choose but dream bike would be either a Norton NRV588 or a Britton V1000.......Maybe a rotary powered V1000 would be an ideal compromise :p

    FINALLY GETTING MY FZR GOING!!
Seriously, I can imagine no better bike than the one I have spent endless hours working on and finally getting it customised and setup for me.
To me, nothing from the factory will ever have the same special something as the one I built myself

At the moment mine is a 2013 zx6r but with a nice under tail exhaust.

    image.jpg

I rode a 2006 zx10r a few weeks back and it scared the **** out of me. I don't see why anyone would need that much power but still being on my learners and only having about 6 months of riding experience, that may change down the track.

    Agree gi, awesome bike

The thing that cheeses me off about the new Norton is the price, it's $30k for the base model which is a 961 parallel twin with 80hp.

There are so many better bikes on the market that come in much cheaper, I wish them every success for bringing back such an iconic brand but for me, they are pricing themselves out of the market.

Ive got an 07 Zx10 mate. Have owned it for 5 years now, and it still scares the **** out of me. Absolute handful of a bike, no real need to upgrade for me, it still has a lot more poke left in it than im getting out of it.
