    hey all,

im debating on getting a nice new windscreen for my 90 3ln, id love a nice tinted or coloured screen, for starters who sells them and what sorta price am i looking at?

second of all the reason im wanting to do this is mine isnt very clear, ive cleaned and cleaned it (with metho, and soap and all) and it gets rid of the dirt but not the hazyness, does anyone have any ideas on getting a lurvely clean windshield? while were on the topic of cleaning, wats the best stuff to use to polish up the paintwork on the frame and swingarm, and what should i use on the wheels (silver, are they painted the same as the frame?)

    cheers guys

To clean and clear up a windscreen go and get some toothpaste onto it and give it a nice smooth polish with it. It won't get rid of all of the mistyness but it's likely to get it atleast a bit better.

As for the frame and wheels, i generally use citroclean (citrus based spray on degreaser) to clean off the gunk, then Mr Sheen to give it a nice polish and shine. The Mr Sheen also gives it a coating of something which makes it easier to clean next time.

Mr Sheen, use it on the screen, just the job.

armor-all also works a treat on getting rid of hazyness on screens.
