new chain and sprockets

    hey all, i need a new chain and sprockets, i want a bit more acceleration, so what sprockets do i want, and does anybody have a part number or something? cheers...

    If your after a little bit more acceleration without sacrificing chain life then go up a couple of teeth on the rear. The rule is 3 teeth on the rear is equal to 2 tooth off the front.

    I used to run a 2 off the front (15 tooth sprocket) and had a fantastic time! As i said in the other thread that madmick linked to; it dropped my top speed to ~160km/h but i got there a helluva lot quicker!
    Also keep in mind that any gearing change is going to mean your shuffling gears more frequently. With 2 teeth off the front i was often at the top of 3rd gear before getting to the other side of a medium/large intersection.
