Windscreen Mod legalities

    I have recently bought a new clear windscreen for a '89 FZR250. I'm wondering if it's legal to spray the windscreen a semi-transparent silver/blue to match paint job instead of forking out for another windscreen.

    If so, has anyone done this before who can give me some pointers?

    I'm not aware of any law/ADR that would stop you from painting your screen.
    If you do paint it, i'd recommend painting the inside of it not the outside.
