Gidday, any advice on where the electronic tacho on zxr250a gets it's signal from? I have a multimeter so can test circuits but not clever enough to work out which circuit goes where..... Fuses are all ok, it just didn't work one day. Cheers Andrew

Sounds silly, but have you tried tapping it? The speedo on my ninja 250r would get stuck, and I'd need to tap it to get it working again.

Simple answer: check, clean and replace every connection or part here until it works :lolsign:

Gday i followed the wiring and connections and also for power and continuity. Without knowing what the values should be there are no open circuits and also power to the tacho, just unsure how to test for an actual signal here. With what i have learnt so far i am suspecting a faulty tacho.

Yes i even tried tapping it;)

Anyone know if/how i can bench test the head unit?

    Thanks!
