Well...I am coming up to Tamworth for the 29/30 Oct Gunnedah drags, so I need to confirm your offer of accommodation is still on the table? (PM me). I was going to trailer my bike up to race, but I've decided since I'm missing out on the Texas ride this weekend that I will fly up and spend some time with the local 2fiftycc crew...you, the big cheese et al. I am thinking of arriving 27th & departing 31st. Not sure if you're still keen to do the motorcycle museum. If you are, I might have to stay a day longer! Please excuse me interrupting this thread. I can tell you're all very excited about the Texas ride.

    Cheers

Meet you at the Redbank Plains KFC if we're all still meeting there. Saves the double back.

Will meet the Queensland boys about lunchtime in Tenterfield at the Commercial Hotel. It is on the corner of the Bruxner Highway and has a big parking lot at the back with plenty of loose gravel..... oh no Hyo's this time. :lolsign:

Hey guys, some quick help please. Was just doing the final checks for tomorrow and found out my headlight isn't working :(
    Neither headlight or high beam.

It was working this morning as I was admiring myself in the reflection of the van in front of me and noticed it. Washed the bike on the way home and just noticed the lack of light just now.

Fuse is fine, swapped it for the spare anyway. It's not the solder joint I fixed up last time that's still good and was only affecting low beam anyway.

Possibly there's some water somewhere where it shouldn't be... time to get the multimeter out.

    Suggestions?

Actually I think it is that wire I soldered. Solder pad looks good and doesn't move. As soon as I jiggled the starter button around the headlight came on. Looks like the solder joint on the other end is failing. Hopefully it'll hold up for the weekend.

    See you all tomorrow!!!!
