Today was it a 2hrs drive and I had it! My first bike. 99 Bandit, a quick test ride and loaded it up for the drive back home. Dint in the fuel tank, will look at paint in 6months, fuel gauge doesn't work or trip meter and sounds great!

Gave the bike a good going over today and found a over tightened chain, forks feel as though there is no oil, front brake lever is stiff, running rich and today the bike just didn't want to idle. I had no worries with idle yesterday but today didn't want to.

I still have a good set of bandit forks and a few other bits that I'm clearing out of my shed if you want them cheap.

    Hey man, I have:

    - Front forks, excellent condition including chrome although the seals will need doing due to age.
    - Aluminium fork intermediate plate (holds on the front wheel mud guard/fender/whatever you want to call it over the front wheel)
    - Timing cover
    - Timing advancer
    - Pickup coil
    - Full triple clamp including original bearings (might need cleaning & a regrease but I reckon you could use them fine)
    - Clutch pressure plate
    - Clutch basket plate holder (the part that the clutch plates slide onto only)
    - Pillion right footpeg and bracket
    - Battery holder
    - Clutch lever and assembly
    - Rear wheel spacers (the ones that insert into the swingarm that the axle goes through with the nuts to adjust your chain tension/rear wheel alignment)

I might be able to get it to you cost effectively, I did a package for Risky up to newcastle that worked out quite cheap compared to Australia post.. so if you're interested send me a private message and we can discuss costings. I'm happy to move it out my shed so I'll do you a good deal (I also know how painful it is to find decent bandit parts, one of the reasons I moved mine on).
