Thanks guys for the links. Was hoping that one of the forum members may have one for sale from a spare parts bike even from another brand of bike.May have to wait until Kiffsta & Phil open there wrecking yard. If i can at'least find one of those tool bags in good nick , and then i'll go through my spare tools to see what i can put together. Have the ball rolling slowly on the rebuild of the SRX so i'd thought i'd start to ask for gear that is missing. So if anyone has an old kit that they would like to sell please do get back to me.
Hi Andy , yep one of those would be great also.

I think the Yamaha tool kits from the era all include the same bits and all have the same bag, too. My zeal one for example was the same as the FZR250 ones. You can find them cheap on yahoo auctions japan but the postage can be a killer (but is fast from Japan) as they weigh about 1kg.

You know the true definition of an expert?
X is the unknown factor and "spurt" is a drip under pressure

I thought the EX was a has-been, and the spurt the drip under pressure. What ever works for you. :p

I did get it wrong.. it should have been X is the unknown quantity (from Algebra) but either way... I am no expert and at the end of the day.. unless you are doing a Concours Resto the choices you make on your bike should be to suit you... not what others think.. :)
