  • I have updated and I should have done this sooner! I have uploaded new pictures starting from when the 3 new fairings arrived from Sydney from Handmade Fiberglass those where the new front cowl and left and right lower fairings I also got a new back center fairing from South Australia from a very reasonable used parts supplier who overnights his parts, I ordered a set of radiator hoses at 2:41pm on a Thursday afternoon and they where delivered 9:03am Friday Morning. The sad thing about that was the Lazy, Moronic, lying African Kid who delivered them left them in front of the Garage door even though I was home at the time, to lazy to even leave a pick at post office card. He claims he put them inside my garage? but how could he have with the door down and locked?? I complained so I guess he had to pay the little moron came to my house and basically call me a liar!!! I ask yourself this question who would steal a bag of useless to them Rad hoses when there are thousands in tools?? Now I got a great deal on them 34 dollars but its not the monetary value of the hoses its the fact they are dam near impossible to get and almost irreplaceable!!!Now when he delivers he is rude and still leaves items in the open I wish him and his older workmate would just go back to where ever they came from and learn some manners and accountability. I am not racist by any means I just hate liars and people who can't take responsibility for there mistakes and see the impact of such mistakes on others or even apologize! Makes me sick to see how the pride in our society seems to be slipping away. I would have put 34 bucks in an apology card and written an I am sorry card and quietly put it in the mail box simple and been done with it I understand people are human and would not have yelled at him to get the off my property!!!

Moving along I test fitted and mocked up the new fairings and put in the new cluster to see how it might look. I took all the fairings to ACE OF SPRAYS and had them painted to match my EX 300 Ninja 2015 that is the next set of pictures. I have heaps more drama inbetween but at the point where you see the painted fairings on the Bike that was when the real drama was about to begin cause it was off to the first Mechanic and from there my frustrations who grow to almost manic levels. Lets just say I no longer trust Mechanics, Bike wreckers ( Except at Springwood) and Auto Electricians and will never pay in advance nor give a Dodgy Asshole ***** Business owner a donation to help his injured Son!!! Lucky I didn't sue the ass off of him for his worst then half assed overcharged, installation of unnecessary parts and damage to the bike and massive over charge ($800) with a fraudulent 1600 dollar invoice with third person explanation that bike was in poor shape with many parts missing!! There was no parts missing they where all there but he was to incompetent to do the job I will post the invoice next time and proof of incompetence but that's a different story for another time nut all I can say is buyer beware of the Motorcycle Wrecker in Sumner Park. I returned two front brake rotors and was kind enough too offer exchange I got a junction box worth from 25 to 50 bucks he charged me 160 bucks a piece for each rotor and they where for the wrong model bike and I never seen a cent nice and this happened at Christmas time, nice cause I was alone over Christmas since my wife and our unborn child Passed away. Well its funny the only reason I need him to finish the bike was due to a faulty ignition part he sold me in the first place that ended up being reason we could not get it started in the first place!!! Anyway enough about him. ( I nominated Him Queensland's Douchebag of the Year)LOL

Once past that stage I got the bike back and was demoralized but not ready to accept surrender!! With many grateful thanks to Site Admin Kristaffa he gave me a hand to get her running and she did run and I even took her for a ride!!! However the Electrical work is what I am working on now. I have to date with the exception of the painting of the fuel tank and fairings have done about 90% of the work myself and I am no Mechanic nor Electrician but have had no choice. I want this Machine that I am restoring in my Wife's honor to be nothing less then prefect. If tradesman won't do what they are over paid to do and do it right with pride in their work then I will forge ahead myself!!! That is not to brag in anyway cause considering it took me 4 goes to rebuild the brakes and 4 or 5 goes to bleed them to a good solid lever it shows my lack of mechanical skill but shows my resolve to never quite. I write this with the first Loom sitting laid out on the floor next to me I know I got all the right wires but am pretty sure they are not all correctly installed in the plugs??? I am also having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to get "clock" power ( low volts to the digital cluster to preserve the memory??) If anyone can help with that I will be more grateful then you could ever know!!! LOL All I can say is once she is done she will probably be the most expensive 250cc Japanese Road bike in existence!!! However she will be a great ride and spent to much time, blood, sweat, tears and anger to action her off for charity ( thanks too you know who!!!) Will keep her as a living testament to my dear wife Joan and our Child. Ironically the Bike and My Dear wife are very similar, both are small, aggressive, spicy and easy on the eyes. ( Jo was Philippiana and had a temper but she was never mean or cruel she just never let me away with any **** she was the Boss for sure LOL)
