Watching your vid of u riding ,your triple tree is out of wack ... and u can kinda see it in the pic above if the wheels are lined up on the stands

Theres 2 drain plugs on the front of the 3LN1 motor to get all the old coolant out

Thanks for the info, I didn't know about those drain bolts. It's not 100% straight in the stand but yes, it's slowly showing issues here and there I hadn't noticed on picking it up, not a fan of the clip on positioning, definitely not symmetrical.

Looking forward to the experience of rebuilding it, I'm hoping to have it down to the frame in a week and start work on the triple tree, swing arm and shocks.

If u have a spare day or 3 heres a bit of light reading of my experience with a 3LN1 .... a lot of waffle but there might some things in there of what to expect and/or how to fix this and that

Plenty of general info on the FZR here as u have probably found already .... but in the end its carbs carbs carbs :D

Waffle makes for a great story though. Thanks, I'll start going through that, will be a great help. There is so much on this site to read it's it would take quite a while to get through it all.

Thanks, I'll have to add that to my list, I use that brand snow foam on my car, great products. I have been using the torque specs from a translated version of the service manual and comparing to the haynes manual for the larger fzr's but I'll take a look, that's one thing I am paranoid about getting conpletely right.
