haha this would be the 4th bike I have bought and own at different times, the first suzuki though. I guess I have always been more of a Honda guy The funniest thing is that she used to be one of Chris's and has changed hands two times before I bought it today with only 3000km travelled in between Picked it up today arvo about 4-ish from Morayfield, Qld and one and a half hour later, she was safely resided in Chris's garage. and being one of Chris's ex, he didn't wait to 'jump' on her and 'started' her. Apparently there were some tug-of-war to jump-start her that I missed out but Chris is very optimistic about getting her back to her former glory
She has been converted to a single seater(LK7 certified) though, that's why part of the seat had been cut and looks a bit dodgy now
well yes, this is my ex girlfriend and its nice to have her back, albeit a tad used. To be honest it was rolled off the trailer and I removed the seat, lifted the storage compartment and hooked up a set of jumper leads from my car to the battery. I pressed the starter button and nothing.. Hmmmm, then I realized this old girl needs the clutch in the start, as the lever is busted, I pulled the wires off the clutch perch and bridged them, his the starter and she roared into life. She has been on her side but the damage is cosmetic nee a broken clutch lever, broken windscreen, broken indicator lens. I'm going to have a look at my spares box as I'm 99% sure I have the bits Yong needs and she should be ready to take to the mechanic and get fork seals and a RWC. Oh and maybe a new battery Good Buy Yong
haha. me too. All I need now couple hours of spare time and she will be cruising around brisbane in no time
bit of t-cut, a pressure pak can and some ebay or kiffata parts and will be presentable.now about that honda????
