Indicator lens replaced, I charged his battery all night and refitted it this morning, it is well and truly shot. I did take it for a quick run around the block... hello old friend.. I missed you
I just love the Across. They are quick, corner well, have a nice note and the boot is just awesome. Yes they are a little thirsty with a small tank, but I don't know too many people who have owned one say bad word against them other than the milage.
Definitely needs forks seals mate, I daresay the fuel is pretty old, needs a frag tank of 95 and she will be sweet Chris
I'm looking forwards to enjoy the storage compartment, should be sweet for groceries run every now and then. how far do they go before hitting the reserve and how far more can they go after hitting it? thanks Chris. Do they feel bent? I wonder how they fix bent forks other than replacing it with a new set. thanks yong
I am a fan of the Across also, something about them just stands out. Chris and I have spoken about the ultimate Suzuki Across, it would be fuel injected, have 14 t0 15l tank and twin disc on the front. That's not bad for starters
motobatt battery recommended. just replacing a motor after 3 months and the motobatt is still good with 12.96 volt charge
Hi all, I've seen an across for sale in this colour and was wondering if its a dark blue or is it purple? Hard to tell, cheers.
Looks purple to me mate. Only just picked it up two days ago. If you saw it on gumtree then this is it. I think the ads might still be up
Haha. Then we r talking two different bike. Picked this up near caboolture, qld. Can't comment much cause I haven't tried her out yet but across seems to be getting good review from 2fiftycc forumers. And being able to pull 40 to 45hp. Performance wise you should be sweet
I'm seriously considering getting one, I've seen Afew advertised around the $2000 mark and it seem like a reliable bike with all the power I'll need until I get my full licence, if I get one I hope I don't cop sh*t about the boot hahaha
I did say that to a bloke the other day, add a liner and some ice and you have a pretty damn sweet esky!
Anthony, they are a very quick little bike, and handle very very well. A little heavier than most 250s due to the steel frame, and reliable yes.
if fibreglassing get the waterproof resin and give good coat and first skin of satin. then glass and last coat of satin and resin to waterproof.darren sent you a pm.
