    Hi all

I have a bike without a center stand and therefor have problems with doing some basic maintenance.

I come across this bike lift and I have managed to get the stuff together to build one but haven't started yet as my garage is full and the rain hasn't stopped long enough to build it outside. Any thoughts on how well it will work?

I will post a review when I am finished.

    Thanks

    Phil

    Hey Phil

Looks simple enough in design and would be pretty easy to knock up, I would check the clearance on your bike before making it to be certain that when in use it will lift your bike enough.

    thanks for the link

The concept is good, however it won't fit every bike. Looking at the link I noticed that they were talking Harley Davidson. Check the rear frame on a harley and it becomes apparent that it would fit. Now check out the Jap bike segment, I looked at several today and found that there is simply no room for it to fit. Perhaps some models might be accommodated, not 100% sure.
Hey Phil, check the under segment of your bike, might just fit. Good luck and keep us posted.

I have made the basic lift but need to do some small modifications to it. I have the next week off so I will hopefully finish it and let you know how it goes.
