Thanks for the ride everyone, had a blast, great to finally meet you QLD blokes & sink some cold ones together. The Tamworth/Newcastle crew are home without incident. Post up all the pics here, I'll have a few vids up later, including up Dorrigo mountain, probably the best bit of the trip I reckon!
I just wanted to say a big thank to everyone for making it a great weekend, we managed to ride 422kms on Saturday and it was relatively trouble free except for the rain at Ballina which soaked us all. Today we did a shade under 500kms and are home and safe, although did loose Phil on the Lions road , we did a ubolt and headed back to find him parked up on the grass holding what I thought was a piece of his fairing, luckily it was just his chain guard which fell off. Tired, but had a great time. Chris Great Job @Kirk on the CBX250, super impressed !!!
Thanks to all who participated, was a great weekend away (now back to the grind). The Tamworth (with a Newcastle ring in) crew at Gingers Creek coffee stop on the Oxley Hwy. At Griffiths Lookout at the top of the Dorrigo mountain. Heading home, rest stop at Ebor Falls.
Got home this morning at 11....was a great weekend and so nice to catch up with friends and meet some new ones. Pleased to hear every one got home safely....that is the ultimate goal. @Kirk CBX250 did him proud, great bike and by his own admission just needs a couple of extra KW to manage the hills. Thanks to all who participated.....great bunch of people
