    This link found me yesterday

    http://canberrariders.org.au/forum/index.php?threads/suzuki-across-carb-sorting-out.143033/

    and this;

    http://teamghettoracing.com/mechanical/carb-efi-work/suzuki-across-gsx250f-carb-overhaul/

    I thought the instructions looked really good and thought perhaps today is the day i'll pull the whole airbox/carbs out... which will also give me a chance to clean the bottom of the carbs and replace the throttle cable, finally, too

    took the fairings off. unbolted the two bolts that hold the airbox to the frame.. disconnected the hoses... the instructions say i can just pull the airbox out. Not sure whats going on there or different or wrong but there is no way i can pull the airbox out.. theres no room. it seems like i have to take the airbox out in one piece connected to the carbs?

    it all got too scary so cleaned the top of the carbs, tapped the starter motor with the screw driver handle... put it all back together and went for a ride. ...

    he missed the 2 bolts that hold the airbox to the frame, they are about half way down the side of the airbox between your fairing, look down there and you will see a bolt on either side. The next photo shows the plastic tabs on the airbox where the bolts hold it to the frame

    i think i got those ones, @kiffsta - i could wobble the box up and down.. but it seemed very well connected to the carb (free of the frame)

    Its nice to get a carb clean and rebuild off the check list and its all fun and games until you completely ruin your nice everlast jacket.

    You have to make sure you un-screw the clamp things which connect the carb to the airbox.
    Then yank the airbox up and backwards. They are pretty stuck onto the carb boots.
    Sometimes you even need to stick a flat screwdriver in there to prise the airbox backwards.

    i always pulled both out (and back in) at the same time. just undo the clamps holding the carbs to motor and as said above, up and back. remember the idol up screw is plugged into the left fairing (that always caught me out) :)
