    depending where you are, north lakes still had a bit there in the arvo, kippa ring had that many people there early i don't think they would have anything much left

    Ever seen any aldi Gear hold up to a stack?, I have seen a guy go down at around 15-20 in a textile jacket and it tore chunks out of it

    Wore the thermal pants and socks on ride today. Would not know you have the pants on, they are so comfortable and warm, socks good too.

    I would have been there today to test them out also except my f***** ex decided at the last minute that her social life was more important than having my son. :mad:

    Any stack can take chunks out the jacket. All depends on the road surface. Not always on speed.

    To me gear is a consumable. If I go down, depending on the damage it might get thrown. However, if I may be a little iffy about putting it back on again. Just like a helmet. If it only saves you once, it's done the job.

    In the words of a famous tyre manufacturing jingle:

    "If it only saves you once a year, it's a Goodyear"

    Thats a good way to look at it.
    I gave my wife a shopping list so that i couldnt go overboard lol. Got another pair of jeans(they now have armour pockets), midlayer bottoms socks and a neck warmer

    Yea I bought the jacket last year and found it very very stiff ..... maybe a few sessions in the wash might be a good option.

    Says gentle cold wash .... so its in there now .... probably take a week to dry :D

    I dont trust any of it,

    It was an aldi textile jacket phil

    No idea, was smooth damp tar(Aldi). Mine(Dririder) Was on extremely rocky gravel. Some rocks were so sharp they stabbed me through my jacket
