I know you can use sockets and the u beaut homemade drift blah blah but has anyone have/used these 'cheaper' sets .....

Its one of those tools that spends more time on the rack than in use so a $30 Chinese set sounds better than a $200 Chinese set  ... if u get my drift

That 11 piece set that goes up to 81mm looks to be a good one.. 42mm probably isnt large enough for the bigger bearings.. depending on what you are doing... these would have been useful the other day when pressing bearings into my engine cases.. might have to get a set just to go with the press.. plus I have wheel bearings to do :)
    Nice find @GreyImport :)

Yea theres a million of them from China on ebay

Apart from races on trailer hubs once in a decade , the main thing would be wheel bearings on the bikes and head stems ..... I hadnt actually compared sizes to whats on a bike but just assuming bearings/races are standard sizes for most things

Yea ol mate has sold nearly 800 of those ... and he is based in Oz it seems

I have one of those. The only downside is that they are aluminium but still useful.

Yes, for the price it is worth having even if all it is for is use with the press.
Ordered the set with max 81mm
