having noticed the rear tyre on my zx6r starting to get some of those little dry-rot cracks, what's the best place around brisbane to get a tyre changed without spending all of my money?

i'd do it myself but have no wheel stand and would probably ruin my rim trying to get the old one off and the new one on

also is it good to have matching tyres or does it not really matter? currently have an almost new pirelli angel gt in front and michelin pilot power on the rear

Get online and let it be your guide. Do not discard the major outlets as quite often they have some of the best deals purely on the basis of buying power......there is strength in numbers !!!
I often enquire what is the best deal this month???? some answers can surprise you.
And as always ask what is the best deal you can do on a set of..........(your choice)
Last but certainly not least........make certain fitting is included in the price. Good luck :thumb_ups:

I don't necessarily change tyres at the same time, I prefer to stagger them so I'm up for a staggered light wallet!!

The same rules apply for the missus lol!

he is a really good bloke, he also does puncture repairs. he is based on the northside of brisbane, so getting up to you @Phil would be no issues.

Northside Motorcycles Tyres and Service at Lawnton - reliable, do a good job and give a good price. I travel from the deep south side to get my tyres done there. Mark and Adrian are good bike guys too........

Another one for Motorcycle mad, Mick from there is very good to deal with. I asked him what he recommended for my zx-10, and he sold me a really good set ( can't remember the name now). He was happy to post them to Vic for me for $30 bucks a set.

2 Wheel Tyres at Blacksoil are OK in my experience. Haven't been there in a while though, and might be a bit out of the way for most.

Michael Brace (aka Mad Mick) of MTM at Goodna are pretty cheap, but he is slllllllooooooooooooowwwwwwww as he likes a good chin wag and can get sidetracked :headbang:.
