a cracking effort lads, we had Th3 Huntsman, _Tim, U B Ware, Revolver, Brisfox and me working on this bike, apart from a false start with a missing earth lead, she basically fired up 2nd go. We had a bit of tidy up with the wiring but everything worked a treat, Yong's bike has helped fix so many.

I wanted to say a big thanks for everyone's help today, this little community rocks !!! :thumb_ups:

    Cheers

    Chris

Glad to help mate. Even tho I did do a sneaky and get my carbs sorted at the same time. Lol. But I did help out in the end. Was good meeting more members of the community. Good beer and good company made it a great day.

Also cheers to huntsman for steering me on the right direction with my litetek install.

great boys for a great afternoon. Reminded me of years gone by in Pommyland spent in a garage with bikes on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
    Briz.

Oh and Kiff I've sorted out some lights for your work shop.

ok, so a little bit more from me.

the day started off like any other Saturday, kids jumping on me to wake me up.
but when i woke up i remembered this was engine change day and jumped out of bed and got started at securing the bike to the trailers.

i was then off, driving down the highway heading for kiffsta's place. got a little lost (missed a street) retraced my steps and found the place easy enough.

so i get to kiffsta's and because he is a great guy, already had the engine out of the donor bike.

we then get my bike off the trailer, move the trailer and car's to make sure there is enough space for everyone to park.

we then get started ripping the old engine out and this is the point i get very thankful, all the guy's were so awesome.

i did not no alot, as have not played with bikes that much yet and these guy's that came and gave me a hand and you could see they had the knowledge and made life so much easier.

got the engine out and had a beer to celebrate.

started putting in the engine and had it in with not to much trouble, then started her up and she started almost right away.

i can't thank the guy's that came out and helped more, Th3 Huntsman, _Tim, Revolver, Brisfox and of course kiffsta for hosting. i learned so much yesterday and will be there for any future build days to keep learning.

    Thanks all.

I was a little disappointed not to make it but you had the A-TEAM on hand.:thumb_ups:
One thing to think about is notifying Dept of transport re. new engine number.
Lets hope for some finer weather so you can get out and enjoy your ride.:D
