I bought the haynes manual on motorcycle carbs and it tells me to buy some very expensive vacume guage equipment, before i go down this road could anyone advise me of the default positions of all the adjustables on the carbs. thanks to all who reply.

Reassemble. - Set all needles to middle notch (#3) - Set pilot jets to 2&1/2 - 3 turns out Can't remember float heights off the top of my head.
