    Hi all,
No idea whether it is a common problem but my toolbox lid snapped off (was like this when I got the bike) so I decided to buy a 100mm x 60mm plastic cap off ebay £2.50 for 2 of them. And then cut it down to shape. Not too bad, I might loop a keyring round it so if it does come loose it wont go missing. Pics below :)

Great job. I have exactly the same problem - no lid when I bought the bike. I will probably try something similar myself at some point. Thanks for the inspiration.
