    You're right. I will be going back to do exactly that. 2020...the year of redemption. Onboard camera only recorded one run (see link below). At about 2:10 into the run you can see the salt getting smoother, but by that time the timed part of the run is almost over.

    Great write-up @Frankster what an adventure it must of been. Didn't realize the salt flats could get so rough.

    Me neither Sharky. I have found a video from the testing we did at Heathcote Drag strip a couple of weeks before Speed Week. I've inserted the video into the original text at the beginning of this thread. I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of my issues were from poor setup of my front end. I guess if I had Blair or someone like him handy we would have sorted it out and gone record hunting. I'll know better for next time.
