i had to park on a weird angle and dropped my bike :(

after that it started and i got into town but then it wouldn't start.

    battery died.

push started and got it to the shop and its now currently charging...

what i'm wondering is why the battery wasn't charging from push start

recently replaced reg/rect..at that time tested battery and it was good.

Batteries can die from a fall/shock. Internal damage, especially if regular lead acid type that you can refill the fluid in. AGM batteries less so but still possible.

Also possible that you damaged the charging system.

Was just the battery. Old. Corroded. New battery. Happy days. Case closed.
