Hey guys and gal's, ive just picked up a 1980 gsx, and am currently cleaning it up. The speedometer has packed it in and I'm thinking of replacing both gauges. I've found a set, however the new tacho is electrical. Would like to know if anyone has done this conversion before??

    TIA Jon.

Tacho would go off signal from stator or maybe coils. Tachos can read different ratios eg 4:1 or 2:1 you would need to know the source of the signal for the tacho and specs to get the correct reading.
