I bought this bike about a month ago and I only just got to ride it this past Sunday. I also figured I'd better take some photos of it looking all shiny and stuff before I do some damage...

I got my L's a couple of months ago now and I've been so busy with a garage build that I've not had any time to ride either this bike or the Postie I bought so this ride was my cherry. I don't mind admitting my ass crack was sweaty... sorry about that visual. :p

I set off happily enough and a few minutes in the bike spluttered to its death. Yes, I forgot to turn on the fuel. The rest of the ride was pretty cruisy and fun. I did come up to a hill start which made me realise I need some practise there. The other thing I realised was the clutch lever is too far from the grip for my small hands and this coupled with a pretty heavy clutch makes for a tiring ride. I'll have to address this.

At the end of the ride I took it to a quiet cul-de-sac and took some happy snaps.

    Ewww!
Nice looking bike. Try to find some 'dog leg' type levers to make them easier to grab. Maybe the cable needs a lube too.

    Sorry! :p

Ordered these ones yesterday. Hoping that'll be enough and like you said, some lube might be required so I'll check it out when swapping out the levers. Cheers.
