You may find that the turning circle hasn't changed, but the steering may be more neutral giving you more confidence.

When I raised the rear with shorter dog bones (equivalent of lowering the front)- found that it no longer wanted to spiral down and fall into into low speed corners and kept the line under brakes into corners/bends.

Turning circle is smaller, i don't need to do a 2 or 3 point turn to get it out the back now.
Seeing as mine was sitting high at the front it would now be back close to the oem turning circle.

I forgot to add above the chain guard needs some clearancing at the front to clear the 06 07 reservoir. Easy job though.
And at the top of the shock you need 2x 5mm spacers to make the R6 top shock mount the same as the FZR top shock mount. 20180308_075549.jpg 20180308_093024.jpg

@ruckusman i reckon your shock is off a 2008 model R6 seeing as it has a slightly smaller / lower reservoir. Probably the better shock to use on the 3LN's

Give me some dimensions @GreyImport and I will make you a nice pair on the lathe. You're always helping me out. I will send them to you when I send your carb back.

You could use some High Misalignment Spacers from Rod Ends.
My spacers are just thick washers, 20mm o/d and 10mm i/d and are 5mm thick each.
To give the chain a couple of mm more clearance to the shocks' reservoir, you could make one 4mm thick and the other 6mm thick, use the thicker one on the chain side.

Yea top shelf stuff ... which makes that 2nd hand one a great buy as long as bids dont go crazy and shipping was reasonable

How much do u think it weighs?

Have to get them to unblock the auction first, but could be a score. From my experience their shipping is not reasonable but if you buy it for the right price it won't matter.

I can tell you right now that they will not ship it, I have tried several times to get forks and / or rear shocks through Jauce, Buyee, etc and EMS won’t take them due to pressurized gas.
They now do DHL but that is horrendously expensive.
As it has 3 days to go and has 29 bids already my guess (Based on buying lots on Jauce) it will probably triple in price.
Then you have local freight in Japan plus their fee (300 Yen) plus a fee to put money in before you can bid. Then you get charged packing and international freight.
The R6 rear shock I brought in from the US cost me A$105 to get it into Aus. Just as a guide.

Yea i thought it would add up to being ridiculous .... and also had thought about the oil/gas/shipping thing coming into play

@Andych ... have u ever bought something like a parts book or service manual thru Jauce?

That is one thing I haven’t bought through Jauce lol.
I know @my67xr was looking at buying one through there but ended up getting it through Fleabay from the same seller.
    No doubt with less hassle.

Most of the old ones (that we want) are in high demand so they have high prices but they can be worth the $ just for 1 page of info if you need it.

If you don’t have a Jauce account and need anything let me know and it can be arranged

    There certainly are
I find the best way of not spending more than you want is to place a Sniper bid at the top of what you are willing to spend. Then forget the Auction is on.
You either get it or you don’t.
If you don’t they put the $ back into your account.
Problem is I have missed out on some really good items by a dollar or 2 but that is just how it goes ☹️

Yea I might look into some of those resources as it looks like some are common there and always available and may work out pretty cheap
Seperate parts lists for the 3LN3 , 5 and 7 would be useful ... and a complete set of service supplements
