    I have seen these come up on eBay before but via a Singapore eBay store.
    Not bad value as straight rust free 2nd hand units are like the proverbial Rocking horse excrement.
    Rechroming would be considerably more than that not including straightening.

    I've got a set of these, look and feel like the originals
    Only gripe I had was a sticker on one of them that did not come off cleanly, tiny pain in the rear

    I love the idea of rechroming OEM pipes, simply because I would keep everything OEM. With the CBR250RR fork pipes, all quotes I got for the job (removing the old chrome and laying a new one) were over the price of a new OEM tubes... And no one could guarantee the new layer would be the exact same thickness as the original.

    I've received lots of inquires about forks for older models, from the 60's and 70's, which I don't have access to. Owners of rare or old models have no option but rechroming.
