Hey guys, currently having some problems with some leaks around my fuel tap.

just wondering if anyone knows if there's supposed to be a seal on the end of the metal connector that enters the port for the reserve pipe?? There seems to be a groove for a seal but I can't see any on the parts microfiche.

Also fuel is pissing out when the tap is set to the off position, I'm assuming the internal seal has had it??

Have had this issue before. Not sure why they come out or if that part should even be able to rotate. I would JB weld it in as a permanent fix. Other option is new OEM fuel tap if you can find one.

I think they are originally pressed in, that recess should lock into the tap body
Mine was leaking from the fuel outlet on the tap, i just mixed up some Devcon 2 part epoxy and glued it in, same type of epoxy as JB Weld

I have removed the tap completely on my track bike and replaced with an inline quick connect. Problem solved..
