AliExpress stuff is fine, but if you're not sure about what you're ordering, ask the seller... case in point - we bought the wrong piston rings, and I bought genuine ones, only to find out that the fizzer factory had some hidden away out back. Not genuine, but they fit perfectly. At least you'll get genuine rings and bearings in your engine :thumb_ups:

Still don't know if I'd trust chinese pistons and bearings... would want to compare a chinese one to an original new part... Critical engine parts are, well, critical.

For little plastic/rubber bits, go for your life. Just expect to wait a long time before they finally turn up. I'm still waiting for indicators, a fairing screen (which one is still a fizzer factory secret for now, not certain it will fit), footpeg rubber pads, and a fuel pump.

Yea I want to get the fairings on there I got them on ebay previous but same ones or same style anyway for a tidy bit less. I message the seller to see how much he would do just the 3 I need and he said 185 euro the full kit 335. On ebay the kit was 430 I think. I wont be affording it for a while but if ali express is going to be cheaper for relatively the same thing it would make sense to use them.

Anything critical I would try get it main stealer first.

If I could repair the nose fairing it would be handy as it has a chunk gone out of it. I was thinkin fiberglass the back of it and skim coat of filler but the filler wont flex and probly crack after a short time :-/ I glued back on the ear where the mirror goes on not the tidyest but it will do. Im gna save hard for the rest of this month and next need tyres there priority and try get the fairings and screen after that

fibreglass inside and then do layers on the outside with each bigger than the previous. chamfer the edges then a final thin skim of bog.

The parts are here all the way from oz. Thanks again @GreyImport @Murdo @Phil. the 2fiftycc stickers will be going on the bike asap :)
I lashed a bit of paint on both stator cover and mirror turned out well for a quick job!

The drum for the stator is a lil damaged on two of the points that stick up I dont know if that matters? test drove the bike only up nd down the lane and wow the new chain sprokets and cush drive makes it so smooth there is no lash anymore in the gears or clutch operation and no more sawing noise :)

Two new tyres next and hopefully the three new fairings. Black screen and hey presto she will be like new again. All in all things are looking up even if the missus dumped me
    lol

Awesome! .... thats great the bike is going again :thumb_ups:

And my philosophy for when a female goes out of your life is you just fill the void with more bikes.

Yep drove a few k's went well bar theres no grip in the tyres! Took it for a sneaky whip with no end can on and mother of pearl such sweet noise with what seem to be an nice improvement in throttle response! Id love to leave it like that but alas one of my neighbours called the 5'0 on me for speeding. Not noise pollution but speeding silly country i live in so inspector clueso came to my door accused me of speeding but they could not prove i was speeding unless my neighbour Has had speed gun inserted where her eyes used to be they werent long about getting lost as they were getting no where and quite frankly i laughed at the accusations but the sad fact is i wasnt speeding i increased the noise of the bike not speed lol cages go up nd down my road like looneys no one bats an eye make your fzr louder and everyone loses there minds.

Ah yes the void ill have to post up a lonely hearts thread on here :p she lost interest She said so i must be pretty boring ha ha worst of all she liked the bike and was mad to go for a ride on the back Oh well i might get lucky and find another like that that!
