Firstly.... the white one from this thread is in being tuned by my guy at the workshop, has new oil and filter, got a airfilter from unifilter made up, new plugs, fitted the fuel tap parts, new fuel lines and inline fuel filter. Should get it back in a few weeks.

Got another one...... turns over, rusty tank... usual stuff. Will try to get it running first. Might be a parts bike... we will see.

thanks for that, had a read, my tuning guy hasnt started on the bike yet, i will warn him. My guy was tuning the FZR250's when nobody else could in the early 90's as they arrived in Australia. He has also tuned my 2x MC19 and MC22 to perfection, so i have high hopes for this one. Fzr is supposed to have a little more bottom end, and watching a few Vids it looks like the gearbox winds out longer in each gear... we will see.
Thanks again for the heads up.
The OEM boots were wildly expensive.

Finally..... got the FZR250R 1989 back from the workshop, tuned and almost ready for rego... i did the rest.
140PSI across all cylinders so im happy enough with that. blue slipped and ready for rego..... I had forgotten how nice these fibreglass fairing were. Put a BMW K1300 Brembo master cylinder on it... (cause i had it lying around) and fitted a pressure switch for the brake light... works a treat... very progressive braking to full when lever is pulled, just how i like it. Black tank was replacement on rusty white one that was on it.... kinda like the black tank.
New Metzler Sportec tyres in correct sizes.
Unifilter air filter was not great, poorly sized, wrong air flow amount, lucky i had a near new air filter in the spare blue bike.
Took it for a run, had a few spits and then settled in, winds out to 18,000 nicely, engine sounds and feels tight. Nice Midrange. Doughy under 4k.... like most inline 250 -4 s.
    Anyways.... stay tuned...

Score - looks to be that you've got most of the bits
3LN5 is the pinnacle engine power, performance and styling wise IMO, the 3LN6 and 3LN7 were slightly detuned IIRC

That is a 1993 3LN6... based off the colours.

Tacho red zone starts at 16,500 instead of 18,500, and tacho starts at 0rpm instead of 3000rpm

Check the carbs... rounded slide cutaways and screw in needle retention mechanism indicate 3LN6
