Help FZR250 Temp gauge rises when lights are turned on?

    I see what you're saying.
    During the day gets up to around 18c.
    I have only tested the switch that's on the bike at the moment with the bike running. The others I was trying in boiling water to save having to partially drain and remove the switch from the bike each time(in case the next one I installed was no good, they're all old units)
    So in theory if I install one that has been reading 0.25 ohms in boiling water, it should work fine?

    Yes, I would fit the one which read 0.25 Ohms when in boiling water, then with cooling temperatures heading into winter you may have difficulty getting it hot enough

    The usual scenario for a cooling fan to come on is warm/hot day and slow traffic, you could try putting something in front of the radiator to test it when it's idling static to bump the temperature up
