G'day fellas came across your site and thought I'd say hello from Sunny Cornwall here in the UK I currently own a 1981 standard Blue GSX250 Suzuki and a Yamaha YB100 which I'm rebuilding to look like a 70's FS1E (fizzy). Both of the bikes are at the moment stripped down in bits the cosmetics for the fizz have gone off to be professionally resprayed in Candy Gold and decals fitted and I've not long since finished rebuilding and cleaning/polishing the GSX motor which is now sat on the bench.

Had bikes all my life this GSX is my seventh of the model just love em to death they're a real good bike if you know their faults and flaws are pretty easy to keep on top of and a joy to ride and handle quite well too.

Suffice to say I'm looking forward to getting to know you all maybe helping out a little where I can and generally joining in with all things bike, thanks all ;)

Ps, can't put any pictures on of the GSX at this moment as all my GSX pics are on my other PC which I'm going to have to reconnect up to get at em and load them to disc but don't fret I'll get her done and put some up.

    Welcome Cuda.
You may be able to share your GSX experience with a couple of other new members who have just bought GSX's.
    I have a 1974 YB100 that I restored a couple of years ago.
    And we like pictures too.

Thanks for the Welcome Murdo 'and you guys' appreciate it more than ready and willing to share the love these GSX250's don't really have that many issues I can think of at the moment apart from the shocking electrics they have on em which can cause 'real issues and if you don't realise what it is can leave you scratchin your head ... but there's 'always a workaround and a fix for everything.

I hooked up my older Windows XP Pro PC last night ... then had to spend the better part of two hours updating everything just to get it usable again and get into it. Suffice to say I have now downloaded what pictures I have to disc and have now transferred them onto this PC so if this is usually the norm I can put an initial picture of the GSX on this opening post as she was when I first found it took pity on her and jumped in with both size nines :D She looked poorly sick when she arrived by courier as going up country for her and spending that much extra on gas didnt make sense so I had her come to me ... 'this, is how she first looked.

Gotta be honest she aint lookin that much better now as she's in bits all over the place 'but, I 'have, done a bit to her over the last eight months or so but with work and doing the 'fizz replica as well it's been a case of 'when I can and when I've had the time, I'm debating on starting a thread but I'm kind of in Limbo at the moment as I've got a lot on so if I 'do, don't expect any massive leaps and immidiate accomplishments coz that won't be happening it'll be a case of a bit here and a bit there ... but I'll get there eventually ;)
