CV is an abbreviation for Constant Velocity. The slide is lifted by a vacuum operated diaphragm

Not sure about the shipping but they are available online for about $2.50 each.

So I finally got the GSX250 home and after the 40min ride, I think the 120 main jet is actually ok with this exhaust/K&N pod combo.
It doesn't like maintaining speed at 60km/h, just either wants to keep accelerating or slowing down, so I suspect the pilot might need to be changed too.
I think I'm going to buy a complete rebuild kit for around $35 on eBay, then play around with jet sizes to get her running sweet.
    Cheers.

    Cheers guys.
Has anyone actually perfected the combo of jets/clips on these GSX's with pods and an aftermarket pipe?
I pulled out the 2 jets from the bottom of the carb, looks like a 122.5 and a 20.
Any advice to get better 1/4 - 3/4 throttle? Mine just bogs down and runs like dicks. Any help is much appreciated.

Poor maelstrom, you must be getting sick of carb related posts lately hahahaha.

For "1/4 - 3/4 throttle" the needle height/taper makes the difference there. So if your running lean there, raise the needle height a notch or get some diamond sand paper and change the needle taper. If you running rich, then lower the needle height.
I thought I was having a similar problem, but I actually think in my case it has more to do with the fuel lines =).

    Hey Spudley,
Did you manage to fix your 1/4-2/4 bogging issues?
    Mine is still hanging around.

Ended up getting a handful of different sizes until I got a combo that worked- which I had forgotten
I ended up selling the project sorry, VonC.
