GSX250F interior man bag light upgrade / aditional

guys, im toying with the idea of adding an extra light to the top lid of my man bag. i have been for a hunt thru the jaycar web site and i think this would work well

im not sure if it would handle about 14volts when the motor is running or not. might have to investigate this.wouldnt be hard to setup. wire it to the existing light and run the cables forward along the inside top of the lid of the man bag and mount it far forward near the latch.

i might have to go for a ride this week to visit jaycar. the staff here are quite helpfull. with a bit of luck they might even connect it to a 12 psu for me to see how bright it is. keep you all posted

 

yeah i wiried up a cigarette lighter socket under my seat of my vfr800 back in year 2000 before i rode round australia on it. great idea. charge my phone while riding. and can be contacted on it at night after a days ride.
