    Hey All..
Ive got a question for the the x7 boffins out there.
What upgrades can i do to the brakes to stop...
Ive got a braided line and i did buy carbon ceramic pad (Im sure there really not that good but they where what they had in stock, also only $50 so i thought why not).
But what else can i do.. i don't know if anyone has got bigger rotors to fit in the Mag wheel mounts or whether a new master cylinder would help or what!

bigger rotor would mean different caliper. depending on your skill level you could always retro fit a different caliper basing it on whatever type of disc would fit your current wheel like below.

other suggestion would be a master cylinder that has come from a later model twin disc bike?

I would looking at if wat u have is working to optimum.
Is the lever soft or 'hard' ..... if its spongy then its got air in it ...if its hard but doesn't pull up then maybe the pistons need a checkup or something isn't doing its job
Has the MC been thoroughly cleaned out?
Did u anneal the copper washers when u reconnected the fittings?

When u fitted the new line did u flush out the rest of the system and put all brand new fluid in?
Did u deglaze the rotor and bed in the pads?

maybe those pads just arnt a good mix with the disc

i would check the brake pads first, if your bike has a stainless steel rotor they don't work that good with "better" quality pads, is my experience
