New to riding as well which explains why the following occured!

The other day was riding around until the started spluttering and losing power......problem? no fuel in tank!(nothing in reserve as well when switched.....? will need to check ) had to push bike about 1km to fuel station.

Anyway the bike is ok but my question is would this upset the rather fragile nature of the carbies? or anything else

    I have a 90 model fzr250 3ln exup that needs a bit of a clean up!

    Gday to all........

If it runs ok when you fill it up, then no problems. Suck it and see...

i remember when i just started out riding. was very very new to bikes at that stage. it was the same day i bought it and went for a ride just to familiarize myself with the bike.

i changed it to reserve but it would not start, i guess no fuel in the lines i sat there thinking what could be wrong and finally after about 15 minutes of just sitting decided to try again and she fired up no probs

I think we have all run out of petrol at some stage. I did it in the first week of having my bike. Missus had to bring a jerry can out for me
