    Hi All,
This part is extinct and I need the same part for my 400. If someone has a good one then I should be able to copy it. I can send your old one back to you if you want. Can anyone help out? It has to be in good condition.
    cheers
    Blair

Hmmm I don't have a spare as the one on my FZR400 is in use. Is it the same part as the one on the FZR250?

@TechHeadFred Yes, same for the 3TJ series of 400s and the 250s.
If I get one I will change the design to make it stronger than the original.

    PUMP DIAMETER PLEASE!
Ok new development. I dug out my mangled remnant and after close examination I don't want to make one like that. With the two slots that go through it used to hold it in place it is a poor design. Better to use some screws through the base either vertically or horizontally. So I drew up a much stronger version and what I need to know is the diameter of the pump. I don't have a genuine pump, yet.

New version. Will require a little bit of modding to the support bracket. Takes M5 socket head cap screws.

Thanks for the offer @Moo. I think the only other thing I need would be if someone could measure the two holes in the rubber part. I have allowed about one mm of stretch and I am not sure if this is enough for the large one. Mr @GreyImport do you think you could use your verniers one more time?
    thanks

Much appreciated. I should be able to get a workable result if it doesn't cost the planet.
I bought a Chinese pump and the supplier sent me a drawing, which also helps.

OMG No! That would cost the Earth. Black EPDM will be fine and a whole lot cheaper.
Still have to do the little mod to the bracket but I am going to move my assembly anyway so it has plenty of clearance from the coolant hose.

It is possible to get coloured EPDM but it usually requires that I order 500kg of product :)

    Well some news.

That is a Chinese pump that I bought. I had to remove the back cover to fit it as the section at the front is about 3mm larger in diameter.

Ummm! I have not done the price yet. This one is the prototype.
You can't just fit them because I changed the design, so need to do a little bit of modding to accept the two screw mount. The standard part is almost broken into 3 pieces from new so I thought it would be a waste of time and money making them like that.
