Hey everyone. Just bought my first bike yesterday. Its a 1980 yamaha xs250, its fairly rough but its gonna be a good tinkering/project for me to keep myself busy. Completely new to bikes. I have never had to much exposure to them. So looking forward to learning and talking to you all. Cheers Terry
Ahhh so thats were that one ended up...when I saw it on slumtree thought to myself, thats not going to last long at that price
Yea ive been browsing for a while and saw it had only been up for an hour and jumped on it straight away.

Terry. Welcome to the family. If you need help , just ask as a lot of good guys hang out here and they are always willing to help out.
It looks like a good blank canvas though Terry, it's got some nice wide forks on it. As they say in some car circles "It's got a nice stance".
Yea i don't mind the way its sitting. Looks good. But someone has done some sketchy welding to extend the back end.
Like Mymia, I too am late to the party to welcome you to the forum. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
A mate and I bought a project XS250 not too long ago. I know he has a crate of spares. Let me know what you need, he might be able to part with something I am not sure.
