Hi everybody, I've just bought a Honda VT250fg (mc15) that's seen better days to say the least. Some is broken, some is missing, so we shall see what it ends up as. Was bought as a quick project but I'm not convinced.
Had bikes in my life for nearly 40 years but that is not to say I'm an expert, in fact nothing like one.
Shifted my focus of late to old cars and all the rust repair that goes with them.
I also like classic trials bikes but never seem to have the time lately to ride.
I live in Darfield, a small town about half hour from Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand and I have to say it's pretty good.
That's about it, any questions (because I will have plenty lol)..

    Thanks fellas.
@2valve thanks for the link but this machine will be somewhere between Cafe and tracker depending on parts I already have. I have very little money as a solo dad on a benefit so buying bits is not an option. I do have fairings etc that I've removed that will be for sale. Petrol is now $3nzd/litre so this should be a good cheap runabout.

OMG that is so kind of you, I am...I dont know what I am. Lost for words, thankful, appreciative, embarrassed, humbled, lots of stuff going on inside me. There are so many good people on this earth, it gives me hope.
