    I like the top one more because I don't really take the wheels off that often. And when I do, I like normal stands anyway. But I made a box out of wood (had it lying around) and achieved nearly the same thing except I can't adjust the height. Nonetheless, it works. I just need more space with a super long ramp. It's a two person job sometimes if the bike is heavy. IMG_0964.JPG

    Also, these guys have super cheap stands and lifts:

    http://radum.com.au/catalog/index.php?cPath=17_365

    They did have those yellow lifts (except red) but they may have them out of stock. Give them a call. I didn't get one but planned to so hopefully they can get them again. They were only like $350 or something.

    I've got a red one from hare n Forbes. The quality is rubbish. The actual stand is fine. The jack is cheap and I've filled it 3 times already. The linkage to the foot pedal from the jack is cheap 1/4 socket extension bars and the swivel welded together. When it works it's excellent.

    @Linkin, check their website before buying. The bench cost a bit less than if you buy through eBay. Then work out if the item + freight is cheaper on eBay or from the website (http://www.wholesalesuperstore.com..../motorcycle-hydraulic-lift-table/prod_26.html)

    Although they say "PLEASE DON'T ASK US TO PRICE MATCH INFERIOR QUALITY PRODUCTS", the reality is that this work bench is a generic one, widely sold on the internet, including on eBay. Just make sure the bench has a scissor crossed lift, and is long enough to keep the bike on the platform, not on the ramp. This specific "TABLE SIZE(without ramp): 1800mm x 660mm". That means, if you want to load a bike that is over 1800mm from wheel to wheel, the rear wheel will have to sitting on the ramp, not on the table. I've heard it weakens the ramp.

    ^^ sorry, didn't realise the price on the website was ex-GST. At the end, it cost the same as on eBay.

    The worst bit about changing the seals kiffsta is the actual table is heavy. Really heavy. Me and a mate bought puts the same time and his jack went too. He bought one from supacheap. No more worries

    Can't really use a jack under a two stroke with out damaging the pipes. We are only talking 250s. I think they will all fit no worries. I use these type stands. If I want to do the front I put the bike on backwards and clamp the rear

    Apologies for the crap pics. I'm not very good with puters. The first was a attempt to show the crappy linkage I spoke of earlier.

    This is mine with one of my 'BIG' bikes on it. Have done a lot of up and downs in last three years and no problems yet.

    I bought a Hare and Forbes jobbie, mine is the hydraulic one with air operated jack too. There are multiple brands for sale but the majority of them are made in the same factory in china. Hare and Forbes and Radum had an indefinite wait on getting more stock as the factory that produces them burnt down. Mine was the last of the old stock. Pretty good unit in general, had to modify the foot pump lever as it fell to bits, no biggie, have had a 1000cc roadbike on it no dramas, and is now my favorite workshop tool. You wont regret getting one. http://www.machineryhouse.com.au/A349

    @Murdo @risky

    Checked wholesale superstore and there it is, 499 including gst. Freight is going to be 150 for them to dump a 170KG box on our curb. 210 for delivery into our garage.

    Going to wait until we are moving house, will need to travel to sydney with a trailer anyway, so the plan is to buy and pickup from Newcastle to save on freight.

    I'm with Murdo, like what I see. Trolley jack would be great as the lifting devise, this plan has merit :thumb_ups:
