    Dunlop GPR300's are available in the correct sizes... as are Alpha 14's if you want to hit the track... I was lucky to get 6 months road use out of a set of Alphas before they were done.

    Sports Demon are a bias ply tyre, more tourer or commuter tyre, but will last longer. Michelin pilots are grippy and compliant, but have a softer carcus and wear quicker, especially on heavy bikes. I guess they are the trade of: durability versus traction. Actually, my bike ran a pilot front and sports demon rear, the front was secondhand (120 and not the recommended 110) and the rear ten years old, so that may have been a bad combination, but I felt confident with the front tyre. Peralli gt angels are a good option, too, though I know that someone didn't like it on one of their bikes - bigger bike, though. The choice is yours, up to your riding style and budget. There was a FB ZXR group thread on the topic of tyre size, saying that you can fit a 160 rear, but a few people commented that they didn't like the 150 when racing/pushing hard so went back to a 140. I know that the 120 front in Michelin pilots works on the front, though I haven't ran a 110 to compare.

    Sadly they dont come in an 18 rear

    I like the Alphas and the amount I ride they would last awhile but they sure arnt the cheapest

    The GPR300s seems a good choice and they are well priced

    Motorcycle tyre warehouse have the rear on special but dont list the front ... I have emailed them

    Apparently that can be the case with Supercheap Auto, they sell tyres and have some on special price, too.

    That makes no sense at all :lolsign: .... sounds like the wrong part


    I vaguely remember the clutch cable was short /tight when I first got this bike ... which would mean a longer one is needed with an A engine in the C frame .... the clutch end is different on each model but cant really see why that would matter much

    Yeah the issue was that when i used the "a" cable , the 90 degree end wouldn't fit where the handlebars are . It would totally bind up and just not fit. Also the length was too long that even fully adjusted I still had no clutch

    Ill have to closely examine the old one ... I think it was purple so it was ugly as anyway ... and who knows where it came from or what its from

    Swap it for a hydraulic set-up off Wish for something like $30! Ok, that mightn't have a hose included and be a bit of mucking around.. the trick with clutch cables is trying to route it correctly, some are tight and only fit one way or get caught up in other parts of the bike. Maybe take note of your cable's route, then remove and measure it for a match - inner and outer lengths.

    Bike is in boxes currently but heres an old photo ... the cable is old and crappy so Ill replace it either way .... Ill measure and compare to a new one when Im back home but it doesnt look original to me
