    Looking good Murdo, glad you were able to source a barrel, the other option seemed to be a tad rich??
    Seat looks great.....it's kinda of what we've come to expect from the good Doctor. Well done mate :thumb_ups:

    Have the second hand barrel bored and painted and ready to be fitted.

    Fitted to the engine and torqued down.

    After a few kicks it finally came to life. Has a bit of tuning to do as it wont idle properly, but sounds good.

    Some minor adjustments and will be ready to test ride.

    The re-chromed muffler heat shield arrived yesterday so this morning I fitted it and pulled the carb off for another clean. Refitted and started up, idles just beautiful and revs cleanly.

    Will test ride when weather is better, but I now consider it finished. McLaren can start eating his dinner now. :dance2:
