Judging by all the orders coming in there are a lot of new 250cc four cylinder owners in the USA. As far as I know there is an age restriction of 30 years, so now they are clear to import from Japan. Not just good news for me because these good folks will be looking after them. Expect some more forum members coming in from the US.

The Yanks have the big dollars to throw around so it has to be a good thing .... as long as there a few around that arnt born into the 'HD' mindset :D

Do they have any sort of LAMs system there? ... probably different in every state like everything else.

One of my customers was importing them, but only going for the cream of the crop like NSR250's and SP versions. Can't imagine that anyone other than enthusiasts and those that recognise them for what they are will buy them. If there are any LAMS in the US they would buy the new blow bags.

US has a 25 year rule for used imports. They've been buying up anything and everything as they've never been as fortunate as we have. They buy a lot of junk too, not as good at picking stuff as markets with a lot more experience.

The government here in Thailand banned everything. Prices of grey import bikes have gone up ever since, well at least original ones.
