    Hey there! First post here!

It seems that the wealth of internet knowledge on the 250 Zeal is on this forum, so I am hoping I'm in the right place!

I am looking to upgrade the headlamp on my Zeal from the legacy sealed beam, to something far brighter. Not too keen on riding in the night with the horrid output of that lamp!

Anyway - anyone know of some decent looking LED lamps that would be compatible with the zeal? I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to mechanics, but it seems very simple to change the headlamp. Furthermore, as we all know the higher you rev, the more output is sent to the lamp - does anyone have experience with this affecting LED bulbs?
Preferably looking for something that will fit the vibe of the bike, and not look super modern. Love that classic chrome look.

Would love to hear what you guys think! Thanks in advance for your help!

    Welcome to the forum.
If your headlight get's brighter as you rev it, then there's a problem with your regulator/rectifier, corrosion on the terminal's in your harness, or possibly a bad stator
Voltage output should be pretty steady, check for around 13.4V at idle, then up around 14.4V at 4000 rpm's.

I'm not sure what sealed beam the Zeal use's but i have seen people cut the back off a sealed beam and urethane a Halogen bulb to the back of the headlight.

I have used a nice LED bulb in my FZR, they cost around $35 a pair inc delivery off ebay
You would need to check if you have extra clearance at the back of the headlight for the led as they take up a bit more room, especially the one's that have a fan.
    The one's i used don't use a fan.
