my magna vt250c wont start, i think the cdi is fried. has anybody encountered this? can you please help.
looks like it gotten very hot and the epoxy resin that covers the circuit board has bubbled out, what were you doing prior to it not starting ? Bit too hard to diagnose with knowing the story behind it.
a friend borrowed it and took it out for a ride. i didnt notice this problem until 2 days after when i tried to start it. thats when i found out about the cdi. and the water pump "weep hole" has started to drip. i guess engine overheat fried the cdi. can the board be cleaned from the melted epoxy resin? thanx kiffsta
