Hi guys. I know I'm pushing my luck but I thought I'd give it a go....
I've just come back from the shop where they are synching my carbs and replacing the indicator from the weekend's bit of idiocy.
I thought I had gotten off light from knocking the bike down but it turns out I missed something.
A chunk has been torn off the edge of the front wheel, rendering it useless.
They are going to check their stocks of wheels tomorrow but I'm not hopeful.
Does anyone know of anyone in Perth who may have a MC22 front wheel to sell?
    Thanks

a good aluminium welder should deal with that adequately - just needs to be TIG on cast aluminium

I think Id prefer to take the safe option of finding a replacement wheel than relying on someone to fix it ..... and chances are the rim is probably bent also

Agreed - subject to availability, the CBR250 wheels seem to be popular among the Motard conversions chaps.

A welded repair should every be bit as strong as the original given that they do it to car wheels which carry much larger loads

Thanks @ruckusman but I managed to find one a good used wheel. It was more money than I hoped to spend but beggars can't be choosers and, much to my surprise, it was actually the same colour. The tyre was transferred over, the wheel balanced and fitted and most of the other stuff that needed fixing was done by my local shop today and I'm back on the road :)
