Hey all, anyone know any possible way to minimize damage when tightening bolts on powdercoated objects?

NO, that's why I will never powdercoat a bike again.

Don't ham fist it so much? You might be surprised how little torque is required to keep bits in place.

I'm talking more about bolts that need a lot of torque.

    Maybe anodize instead of PC?

I would imagine that using a washer or 2 so that there isn't a bolthead or nut twisting the powder coating off would help. Grease washer on bolt/side to help it side, 2 washer if the bolt/nut have a rough face or sharp corners. Or thin plastic washers, after all, the paint/PC is just a plastic washer, too. Just a couple possibilities.
