So, what's the best pace to get cheaper tyres? Mine are rather small, 100/90-18 rear, 80/100-16 front. The rear sprocket is also pretty worn.

Cheers man, I'll be sure to get new sprockets and a chain as well. But what is the best source for motorcycle tyres around the Gold Coast?

tyres are your life and cost is not the deciding factor.what is important is the tyres grip and that depends on the rubber compound. some bike tyres have 5 different compounds across the width of the tyre. more sticky on the edges.i am happy with bridgestones, michelins and pirelli,s.i do not trust magstorms though it is rider feel.in the wet on michelins i

Well Grey put you on the correct track for sprockets and chain, and slipstream is in fact on the Gold Coast, that is a bonus. Tyres?? This part can get interesting, try the big players 1st, they have specials at times that are too good to pass, has something to do with BUYING POWER. The most important question to put to them is: is the price fitted!
It's a trap for young players every time. And last but not least is this question, is that your best price! it cost nothing to ask and can at times save you $$$$. Use your phone to get several quotes and then compare, that's my tip for the day. Good luck.
